Robert L. Allarte
Robert L. Allarte (he/him/él) is a proud lifelong resident of Los Angeles County. He currently serves as Chief of Staff to Long Beach City Councilwoman Megan Kerr, where he leads policy, constituent services, and community engagement for the Fifth Council District. His career has included public service in both Los Angeles County and city government, giving him firsthand experience translating public policy into meaningful outcomes for all residents.
An openly gay Latino, Robert also serves on the Board of Directors of HONOR PAC and is committed to advancing equity, civic engagement, and opportunity for LGBTQ+ communities across the region. He is an alumnus of Whittier College, where he serves on the Poet Council, a small, action-oriented group of advisors to the College’s President. Robert and his husband live in Long Beach, where they remain actively engaged in their community.
Robert was appointed by Supervisor Hahn and represents the Fourth District.
