Jer Adrianne “Juju” Lelliott

Juju Lelliott (she/her/hers) is deeply committed to advancing health equity and LGBTQ+ representation. As the newly named executive director of Newcomers Access Center (NAC), she leads organizational efforts to provide food, clothing, housing, employment, and education to refugee and immigrant families in the Claremont region. As an elected co-chair of the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund campaign board, she represents over 180 campaign board members in helping elect LGBTQ+ officials at every level of office. In her role as HIV Program Manager at Clínica Romero, Juju developed and implemented a HRSA-funded program that expanded HIV testing, PrEP access, linkage to care, community outreach, civic engagement, and clinical collaborations. Lelliott did her doctoral work at USC Rossier, where her research focused on perinatal care for trans, genderqueer, and nonbinary parents. She is a proud “mama to many” and an advocate for bodily autonomy, particularly for intersex youth. Juju lives in bungalow heaven, Pasadena’s first landmark district.

Juju is an at-large commissioner, recommended by the LGBTQ+ Commission and appointed by the Board of Supervisors in March, 2025.
