Steven Fisher

I am so pleased to be a member of the inaugural LGBTQ+ Commission.  I was most recently an elected member (AD 52) of the Central Committee of the LA County Democratic Party, and a delegate to the State Party.  Also, on the Steering Committee of the local Stonewall Democratic Club.  Prior to both of those positions I spent over 15 years working with the Human Rights Campaign—first running their Membership and Community Events Committee, and then co-chairing HRC’s Federal Club and FC Council.   I was also on the National Board of Governors for 3 terms. 

Professionally, I’m a literary agent, partner and department head for Independent Artist Group—a talent/literary agency with offices in LA, New York, and Nashville.   I am proud to work with noted LGBTQ artists like Alison Bechdel (FUN HOME) and Gregory Maguire (WICKED) among others.

Steven was appointed by Supervisor Solis and represents the First District.
